Last month I described recording an album in three days, but this time it’s about recording an EP in three hours.
Pelan Pelan is a duo of Corey Marwick and his son Sam. They folked up at my place with a couple of guitars and a ukulele, and I recorded them playing live together. We did two or three takes of six songs and picked our favourites. The only overdub was Sam’s percussion on reggae flavoured “Pass It On”.
